Nine Volt Heart
-side note- These song lyrics are probably not real at all, I want to make that clear. This was just posted on a couple forums, but no one had a for sure clue as to its origins. This song was apparently a super early track they did for I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, at least according to Gerard. They played it like once and it just sucked so bad they never decided to record it. Matt (first ex-drummer) said that "Nine Volt Heart" was just an early song name for a song that did end up being on Bullets. He doesn't remember which song though. So whether this is a song that never made it on Bullets or just an early song name for one that did, I want to enforce that these lyrics probably aren't real. For one, lyrically it doesn't match any song at all really on Bullets (what Matt said) and I doubt the lyrics would have survived this long, nor do I think they would even written down officially. I believe what Gerard said, but I just don't think these are the lyrics for the song. I included it anyways for just shits and giggles. Fans say this song is just a cover of Bodies by the Smashing Pumpkins, just some of the lyrics are rearranged and flipped. I think that is right, someone copied Bodies' lyrics and wrote it off as being "Nine Volt Heart's". Anyways though, they are pretty damn good lyrics whether thanks to the Smashing Pumpkins and/or thanks to some random fan making this up.
As the days drag on
The screaming pain of death rings louder
The tragedies are residing in you
Stabbing through your nine volt heart may end this soon
In the darkness in my dreams
And the spaces in between
But there are no bodies to compare to you
But no bodies felt like you
The numberless corpses reside outside
It's all because of love being suicide
It's led to my death
And a nine volt heart attack
In the darkness in my dreams
And the spaces in between
But there are no bodies to compare to you
But no bodies felt like you
I hope that I can soon shine like you
Just as the body that you once knew
Take my hand as we drown ourselves tonight
We could watch the crumbled city burn
In the darkness in my dreams
And the spaces in between
But there are no bodies to compare to you
But no bodies felt like you
But no bodies felt like you
But no bodies felt like you
